Toni&Guy Fashion Week Budapest

Toni&Guy Fashion Week Budapest is the biggest event in the Hungarian fashion life. It provides a professional platform for the leading hungarian designers to introduce their seasonal collections twice a year. I’m extremely happy that I could be a part of it as a visitor. So huge thanks to the organizers accepting my registration! ❤

On Saturday the designers presented their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. The schedules included: Kata Szegedi, Nubu, Je Suis Belle, Anda, Nanushka, Use Unused. Unfortunately there is no place for every excellent Hungarian designer, but some of them still have the chance to present their collection during the Fashion Week in the form of showrooms at the venue. This time, the visitors could admire some pieces from Dori Tomcsanyi, Anh Tuan and The FOUR.

A hazai divatvilág kiemelkedő eseménye a Toni&Guy Fashion Week Budapest. A legszínvonalasabb magyar tervezők mutathatják be az egyelőre egy napos (remélem a későbbiekben igazi párizsi divathétté növi ki magát) esemény keretében, évente kétszer, a legújabb kollekcióikat. Hihetetlen öröm, hogy idén én is kicsit részese lehettem ennek, mint látogató. Nagy nagy köszönet ezért a szervezőknek!:)

Szombaton mutatták be a tervezők a 2014-es őszi/téli kollekciójukat. Délelőtt 11-kor Kata Szegedivel nyitott a Fashion Week, majd a Nubu, Je Suis Belle, Anda, Nanushka következtek. Este 9-kor pedig a Use Unused bemutatójával zárult az esemény. Sajnos nem minden tehetséges magyar dizájner tudja bemutatni kollekcióját, de a helyszínen felállított mini showroomok megjelenési lehetőséget biztosítanak néhányuk számára. Ez alkalommal Dori Tomcsanyi, Anh Tuan és a The FOUR darabjait csodálhatták meg a látogatók.

TGFWB Outfit

Yesterday was the Fashion Week Budapest at Palazzo Dorottya. As I felt very exhausted, I went for an easy, yet always working combination: leather jacket, jeans, heels. Styled it with a silky H&M top in order to get at least a little bit of elegant look. The other key detail was my beloved MAC orange lipstick. My make-up worked so well, I didn’t even look tired;D

Tegnap volt a magyar tervezők őszi kollekciójának bemutatója a Palazzo Dorottyában, a Fashion Week Budapest keretében. Mivel borzasztóan fáradtnak éreztem magam és nem igazán voltam kiöltözős hangulatban, egy elég egyszerű szettet állítottam össze: bőr dzseki, farmer, magassarkú. Ezzel nem igazán lehet mellélőni. Hogy egy kicsit alkalmibbá tegyem a szerelést, ezt a krém színű selymes H&M topot választottam a kabát alá. Ami még kulcsfontosságú volt tegnap: a sminkem. A képeket visszanézve, nem is látszom fáradtnak. Mindezt ennek a klassz narancs MAC rúzsnak, na meg persze a jó hangulatnak köszönhetem! 😉

Elle Fashion Show with SFB

I coudn’t believe my eyes when I saw I won two tickets for the show at the Street Fashion Budapest. I was sooo happy. I have never ever won anything like this before. So I called Brigi (blogger of Fashion-Feeds-Me) immediately, who happily agreed to come with me, of course :). We would have gone to the show anyway, but it feels much better. Thanks SFB!
I really wanted to write about this event earlier, but there was so much going on. Literally I didn’t have the time to sit down and make a new post…Sorry!
But back to the show: there were 3 Hungarian and 3 French designers in the programme. Weird though, that the Hungarian designers (Kata Szegedi, Dori Tomcsanyi, NUBU showed their spring collection, which actually I have seen during the fall fashion week (which is quite normal, as the designers always present their next season collection). So I was a bit confused about the idea behind this whole event. Also the lack of enough seats made a loads of people standing. I don’t even have to say how uncomfortable it is in high-heels. But on the other side I really enjoyed the French catwalk looks. It’s always interesting to see something new;)

Alig hittem a szemeimnek, mikor megtudtam, én nyertem az Elle Fashion Showra szóló páros belépők egyikét a Street Fashion Budapesttől. Nagyon szépen köszönöm! Még sosem nyertem semmit, ezelőtt;). Brigi barátnőmet (Fashion-Feeds-Me )vittem magammal, mivel már korábban megbeszéltük, hogy amúgy is elszeretnénk menni.
Egyébként nagyon sajnálom, hogy így egy héttel később tudok csak írni erről az eseményről, de szó szerint nem volt rá időm…
Visszatérve a bemutatóhoz: 3 magyar és 3 francia tervező kollekcióját láthatták az oda látogatók az este folyamán. Ami kissé furcsa volt, hogy mint kiderült a magyar tervezők az idei tavaszi kollekciójukat küldték kifutóra, amit már egyébként ősszel láthattunk. Nem igazán értettem a helyzetet, de mindegy. Ami még kicsit kellemetlen volt, az a megfelelő mennyiségű ülőhelyek hiánya. Magassarkúban állni nem túl kényelmes. (Szerencsémre én épp balerinát húztam.) De ezeket az apró negatívumokat félretéve, összességében élveztem az eseményt. A francia tervezők showját imádtam. Mindig jó valami újdonságot látni:).

And here comes Christine Phung with absolutely must have clothes for skiing. In my opinion :D. Wouldn’t it be cool to slide down in her jumpers?? Queen of the slopes. That’s it.

Outfit for Elle Fashion Show

All black. Even my make-up is smoky. I wasn’t meant to be wearing all black and flat shoes, but when I stepped out of the door in a red skirt and high-heels, I realised this won’t be comfy enough hahaa. So I did a very quick change, and I’m so happy I did. Sometimes I’m just not in the mood for heels. In the end ballet flats turned out to be the perfect shoes for this fashion show…. But this will be the next post’s topic.:)
About my outfit: this top is from the new H&M collection. You can get it in two colours, I need the beige one too! As I tryed it on I fell in love with it. It’s so comfy, sexy and easy to match with almost everything.

Úgy látszik mindig sikerül teljesen feketébe öltöznöm. Még a sminkem is füstös fekete lett. Valójában nem így terveztem. Eredetileg egy piros szoknyában és magassarkúban mentem volna, de amint kiléptem az ajtón, éreztem hogy ez így nem lesz jó, nem elég kényelmes mára. Úgyhogy villámgyorsan átöltöztem, hálistennek. Néha nem igazán van kedve az embernek magassarkúban mászkálni. Mindemellett a divatbemutatón kiderült, hogy a balerina cipő bizonyult a legjobb választásnak. Ráéreztem. De erről és az Elle Fashion Showról bővebben a következő bejegyzésben olvashattok.:)
A szettemről pedig még annyit mondanék, hogy a rajtam lévő top a H&M új kollekciójából van. 2 színben kapható, én biztos beszerzem a másikat is. Szerelem első látásra, illetve próbálásra. Kényelmes, szexi és gyakorlatilag bármivel fel lehet kapni.
